Please support men and women in an acute mental health unit. They are living with a chronic mental illness and are needing support on their recovery journey. They are often impacted by other life experiences such as domestic and sexual violence, homelessness, unemployment, financial hardship, addiction and physical disabilities. These challenges along with their mental illness make day to day living very stressful which further impacts their mental illness.
They have families and children they need to support, meaning they have even less time and finances to support their own recovery journey.
