Our service currently support a young mum and her young daughter. Unfortunately the mum became homeless before she was a mum due to a toxic household and was homeless for a number of years. She then met someone, had a baby and accessed our transitional program. This failed due to her ex - partner leaving her and her daughter to move out of Australia resulting in this young mum couch surfing between family. She is currently not an Australian citizen, so she is not entitled to government payments or allowed to be on the housing register.
She is currently paying for her childcare fees through her family tax and then after that has no income for the remainder of the week. She is an amazing mother, always putting her daughter first but is also dealing with a lot of mental health struggles and has limited support.
Any donations for food or clothes would be greatly appreciated!
