Father and young son recently fled a same-sex domestic violence situation and are now working towards rebuilding their lives together as a family of two. As a male survivor, the father has shown incredible resilience and commitment to creating a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment for his child.
However, the departure of the perpetrator of violence has significantly increased the financial pressure on the family, leaving them struggling to meet their basic living needs. Despite their best efforts to move forward positively, the immediate financial strain is impacting their ability to fully stabilise and heal.
