Many of the women we support arrive with little more than the clothes they are wearing. Some are fleeing violence, others are sleeping rough or starting again after experiences that have taken away their sense of safety and self-worth.
In these moments, the smallest acts of care can mean everything. Being able to brush their hair can restore a sense of dignity and normality when life feels overwhelming. A hairbrush or toiletry pack may seem simple, but for women navigating trauma and uncertainty, it is a powerful reminder that they are worthy of care and compassion.
We support women with kindness and without judgement. Right now, we are seeking approximately 200 hairbrushes to ensure every woman we support has access to this basic, dignifying item when she needs it most. Your generosity can turn an everyday object into a moment of confidence, strength and hope.
