Mother experienced a lengthy stay in hospital due to physical ill health, since this, she has decreased mobility which has caused her difficulty with walking. This creates barriers for her to access the local community, attend community support groups and engage with support providers. She also has severe mental health issues which she receives supports for, however does not engage due to her poor mobility. Her children also suffer with mental and physical health issues, which weighs heavily on her and her ability to support them. Supporting this woman would enable her to engage with supports, access her local community and attend community support groups.
