A Young woman has returned home after 4 months in prison to find her home has been used and abused while she has been away. Her personal items and furniture have been stolen and her home emptied. As her home had been broken into, it was left open and not secure. This young woman spent nights in a home where anyone could have let themselves in. Unable to arrange security or alternative accommodation due to being released on a Friday afternoon, when any business or support organisations are closed.
A week down the track she is now seeking to re-establish her life and attempt to bring her child (5) home to live with her. The child is in the care of her ex partner, who has been the perpetrator of Domestic Violence.
It will be a challenge but this young woman is up for the fight to be reunited with her child.
