Post flood work accident resulted in man confined to life in a wheelchair. Worker’s compensation will not cover for cost of specialised wheelchair friendly kitchen as kitchen was removed due to flood impact. Couple have used government grant and some of their own super to repair walls and floors in home to make it reasonably livable, but a workable wheelchair friendly kitchen is essential for a functional life for this couple.
