Young Mum raising her 5 children alone, was displaced by major flood event in NSW and moved to QLD to be closer to family. She was then flooded in February 2022 and received support previously and has since been flooded again during Cyclone Alfred. She also recently had a relationship breakdown and had to move herself and 5 kids, including a new baby, to a new home. She became homeless after the cyclone event but has recently obtained housing and is now starting over after being flooded for a third time.
They will need some support to replace all the necessities required to live comfortably and safely in their new home. The Mum is looking forward to settling her children into a routine after all the upheaval they have experienced over the past few years.
