A couple has been inundated with flood water, there was water in the lower section of the house. They had just moved there to care for the woman's sick elderly father so all of their belongings were still in boxes downstairs. They were cut off from town for 18 days, they had sewerage through their home and water was coming through the roof.
They were without power for 11 days.
