Young person who has just secured supported youth transitional housing after a period of homelessness and incarceration
GIVIT
This young person has a history of exposure to severe FDV, resulting in a prolonged history of homelessness that stems back to when she was a young child, as her Mother fled their housing for their safety. This young person also has a history of offending behaviour, however has been linked in with support programs and has since made significant positive changes. She is enrolled in full time TAFE and would like to work within the justice system to help out others who may have gone through experiences similar to her own. She recently also secured youth transitional accommodation where she can remain for a year while she stabilises and is supported to work out a plan for long term housing.
