Request: Walker for Elderly Volunteer with Medical Challenges
A 74-year-old gentleman has recently become unhoused following a separation. Despite this, he remains positive and continues volunteering at his local church, where he was temporarily allowed to sleep in a shed before being placed in short-term motel accommodation.
He is facing significant health challenges, including diabetes and recent throat cancer surgery, requiring frequent hospital visits. During a recent trip, we noticed his walker was broken—he had taped the arm back on because he cannot afford a replacement.
We are seeking a sturdy, reliable walker to support his mobility and independence during this difficult time.
