This special milestones are filled with joy but also heartache
GIVIT
A single father is preparing his child for kindergarten.... a major milestone that would otherwise be celebrated.
Instead, after the abrupt death of his wife in August, the family are struggling to prepare and celebrate anything... instead, they are in the throws of grief and dad seriously struggling with his mental health.
The family also have a 2 year old with significant disabilities, requiring 24-hour.care.. forcing dad to resign and become a full time carer; placing all under significant financial pressures. He has had to learn all the medical needs, attend every appointment and try to accommodate the both children. All three are desperately missing their wife/mother and are not coping with the changes.
Mounting bills, a lack of support, no transport or license.... life is very hard right now.
