For many years client was controlled by ex-husband through financial abuse and social isolation. After many attempts to flee, the client has now left the relationship and family home and is residing in a rental property with her children. She is not receiving any child support payments as the ex-husband claims he is not working. Client has no family support and only a small social network due to years of social isolation. Client is working towards recovery and building a new support network. She has recently completed studies and is looking for employment. Her son needs new shoes for school and sport, and she is struggling to afford this. She would greatly appreciate vouchers so that she can purchase the shoes for her son as a Christmas gift.
