Multiple trees came down on the property and lengthy two week outages occurred. Couple were forced to leave home with their pets and stay with nearest relatives. Insurance did not cover their relocation costs and losses which included food due to spoilage. They also lost some applicances in power voltage surges. The couple have minimal income and have struggled since. A generator was purchased to manage further outages. Couple have spent forty years helping others in their community and now could use some help of their own.
