Single male, no fixed address, has vehicle and contents damaged during TC Alfred
2025 Tropical Cyclone Alfred
Applicant was homeless prior to TC Alfred arriving and has been living in their car in Margate. Left the car parked and went to an evacuation centre during the storm. Upon returning to the car after the all clear they discovered the windscreen was broken by a branch and that the portable solar panel used to power the 30L fridge had ceased working. As such the remaining food had to be thrown away.
