A vulnerable and resilient 71-year-old CALD woman needing help due to homelessness losing her home to a fire 4 months ago

Client is an intelligent woman from a culturally and linguistically diverse background (CALD) who had worked in advocacy roles for CALD women before retiring and continuing on with volunteer work at multiple charity agencies. Her house partially burned down 4 months ago leaving her homeless. She initially slept in her car for a couple of days and eventually moved in with a friend (elderly woman) temporarily whilst seeking assistance to access transitional and stable accommodation.
Client has multiple medical appointments during the week and also volunteers twice a week. She had heart bypass surgery years ago, also involved in a car accident that crushed bone in her leg. Client has other medical conditions namely Oesteo arthritis, a protruding disc in her back and type 2 diabetes.
She relies on her Centrelink payment and has no savings. Any help with petrol and grocery vouchers will greatly alleviate financial burdens.
