A former plumber lost his caravan, which was his home, along with his vehicle and all possessions in the floods. Since then, he has been living in temporary pod village accommodation while working to rebuild his life and manage ongoing health challenges.
After a long period of displacement and uncertainty, he has now secured stable, long-term accommodation in a granny flat. This marks an important step forward, providing safety and stability after several years without a permanent home.
Having lost everything in the floods and relying on the Disability Support Pension, he cannot afford to replace essential household appliances. Assistance with a fridge, washing machine, and microwave will enable him to establish his home, support his wellbeing, and live safely and independently.
