A young client is needing a portable air conditioner in his bedroom to help with relief from the Kimberley wet season heat.

A young client who is transitioning into high school is in need of a portable air conditioner for his bedroom that he shares with his younger brother. This portable air conditioner will assist to help combat the Kimberley wet season heat and humidity. For these reasons, my young client and his brother struggle to get a full night rest which has been an identified barrier within the home that affects his school attendance, attention, daily routines and his overall education. Due to his mum being a sole parent with a newborn baby and dealing with financial hardship I am seeking assistance on behalf of the family in addressing this barrier. A portable air conditioner will not only provide my young client with the best opportunity to transition into high school and allow him to start his high school education journey smoothly, but this will also see his younger brother, who shares the bedroom, benefit for the same reasons.
