Both mum and dad are receiving lifesaving treatment for their kidneys at the hospital,
Dad has just had a kidney transplant last month in Sydney
Mum remains on dialysis
They have a school aged son (11-year-old)
Neither Mum or Dad can work and rely on Centrelink. (Dad is on special benefit – unable to access job seeker/unemployment benefits yet due to his visa and Mum is in dialysis 3x weekly and too ill to work.
They need support with
- Managing cost of everyday living
- Managing costs of medications
- Preparing for Christmas for their son
Dad requires access to specific medications since having his transplant. Hospital assisting with these medication costs however other financial concerns remain.
Any support possible will be very appreciated. Please help this mum and dad be able to meet fundamental needs and a gift for their son this Christmas after the hard year it has been for them all.
