68-year-old Aboriginal man, has recently faced significant life changes due to ongoing health and mobility challenges. After being advised by his healthcare team to relocate to a ground-floor apartment to ensure his safety and independence, he has successfully moved into a smaller, more suitable unit.
Unfortunately, most of his previous furniture was no longer in usable condition and could not be transferred to the new home. Despite limited income, he has managed to secure a few essential items including a bar fridge, a mattress, and some basic kitchenware. However, his apartment remains largely unfurnished, making it difficult for him to live comfortably and maintain his health and wellbeing.
He is now seeking support to obtain essential furniture items to create a safe, comfortable, and suitable living environment that supports his health and independence.
