After enduring months of homelessness, between transitional housing and nights spent rough sleeping, This Mums journey has been one of unimaginable hardship, resilience, and unwavering love for her children.
Recently, she gave birth to a premature baby who now requires intensive care in the NICU. Despite the exhaustion and emotional toll, she travels daily to the hospital walking —often with all her children in tow—because she cannot afford petrol for her car. These trips are long, draining, but she makes them without fail. she has secured a home. But the financial strain of paying the bond, covering medical expenses, and managing transport costs has left her with virtually nothing. Her belongings remain locked away in storage, and she cannot afford a truck or the basic necessities required to move in and make the house a home.
