Woman and husband both have cancer diagnosis which is causing financial hardship.

I am seeking support for a woman who is 54 years old and is experiencing financial hardship due to thyroid cancer.
The patient has been diagnosed with Thyroid cancer and currently has a tracheostomy (pipe which has been inserted into the front of her neck into a windpipe) which is part of her life saving treatment. Although patient is able to talk with great difficultly and exhaustion, she is not able to work whilst recovering and receiving treatment. Patient has applied for income protection but has to wait a certain period of time before being able to access it. Patient's husband is also battling cancer and is currently undergoing treatment interstate. They have been apart from each other whilst undergoing cancer treatment and this on top of financial stress is really impacting her wellbeing.
Patient would appreciate and really benefit from any financially help.
