Grandparents have taken on the role of caring for their grandchild due to the child no longer being able to stay with their family. Grandparents where ill, this caused hardship financially. The grandparents are struggling significantly due to the added pressure. of looking after a child, grandparent was due to retire although no longer able to due to the added responsibility. The grandparent had to cease employment temporarily due to illness, has returned although due to the pause in working struggling financially. Any support would be truly appreciated for the grandparents who where no expecting to have to taken on a carers role for their grandchild. The grandparents are trying to do the best for the child and are in need of support to catch up due to the pause in employment and stress of taking on the role as fulltime carers. Any support is truly appreciated.
