At just a young age, this courageous teen made the difficult decision to leave her family home due to generational trauma. After a very long period of couch surfing and even sleeping in a car, she has finally found a place to call home — a huge milestone that she achieved on her own.
Now, she’s preparing for another life-changing journey: motherhood.
She and her partner, who recently left his job due to workplace exploitation, are doing everything they can to build a stable life for their growing family. Despite their best efforts, they are living week to week — with rent and groceries leaving little room for anything else. This young mum is overjoyed about her pregnancy. She’s planning, dreaming, and doing her best to prepare for her baby’s arrival but their financial situation is creating real challenges in preparing for the arrival of her baby.
