We are requesting Christmas support for families living in a Pod Village. There are 15 pods housing families with a total of 30 children aged 0–15. Most residents are single parents experiencing significant financial hardship and struggling with the rising cost of living. Many have ongoing health issues themselves or care for children with additional health needs, adding further financial pressure. Several families have left domestic violence situations, and all have been impacted by the floods or cyclone earlier this year. Christmas assistance would help ensure the children receive gifts and provide the families with some relief during a very difficult time.
