We are supporting a mum with three young children who have recently returned to her care after several years in out-of-home care. Two of the younger children have disabilities and need sensory items to help them manage at home and in the community. These items aren’t able to be funded through their NDIS plans, and purchasing them would place financial strain on the family. The items will help the children settle back into the home and support mum to better understand their disabilities and day-to-day needs.
