A family of 4 (two adults and two children) is requiring assistance with accessing essentials following the flooding from ex-TC Alfred. They come from a migrant refugee background, and have a low income with only the father being able to work - as a result of this, they are experiencing significant financial troubles. They are currently awaiting a government grant to assist with the rebuild of the damage in their home, however while waiting, the house is becoming increasingly unhygienic to live in. The mother and oldest daughter experiences some health issues including asthma, and has been diagnosed by her doctor with having a mould allergy, which is causing them significant difficulties with maintaining their normal function. They have been recommended to get an air purifier to assist with managing their health while awaiting the repairs to be completed on their home.
