A single man on Disability support pension was living in his house which flooded badly in Feb 2022 floods. He has remained in the same house since, but it has now sold and he has nowhere else to go. The electricals were also damaged in Cyclone Alfred and he had to put the electrical fire out himself.
He intends to live on a remote property that a friend owns, but needs a tent, and everything else that goes with it. Any housing wait lists are too long to help him in the next few months and he needs urgent assistance.
