A single mother residing in regional Australia, as been caring for her child with complex medical needs and significant brain trauma for the past 8 years. The pair are extremely close and have external supports other than a medical team. Whilst the family have been coping and proudly remain independent.
Recently, the other was diagnosed with kidney cancer. This has required surgery, with chemotherapy commencing in the coming days, placing enormous pressure on the care of her son.
This family are really struggling with the bare essentials, and Christmas seems out of reach... any assistance greatly appreciated and desperately needed.
