Our client is a single mother of three children who relocated from Victoria to Queensland to escape a situation involving domestic violence. She is currently residing in an unfurnished house and is experiencing significant hardship. At present, she and her children are sleeping on the floor with only an air mattress. They do not have access to essential household items
The family urgently requires basic furniture and household appliances to create a safe and stable living environment.This situation has taken a serious toll on the mother's emotional wellbeing and has had a noticeable impact on the children, particularly after they witnessed threatening behaviour from the perpetrator. Providing this family with essential household items would make a significant difference in helping them rebuild their lives and recover from the trauma they have experienced.
