Christmas is a season of generosity and celebration, yet for many families and elderly members of our community, it can also be a time of significant hardship. For the past ten years, our organisation has been honored to provide food hampers, toys, and small gifts to children, families, and elders experiencing challenges, bringing moments of joy, comfort, and connection during the festive season. Our support focuses on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, children, and elders — many of whom have been pillars of strength and guidance in our community for generations. This year, demand has grown considerably, and our resources alone cannot meet the needs of every family seeking support. It is always difficult to turn anyone away, so we strive to ensure that every child, family, and elder receives something meaningful this Christmas. In addition, we extend our support to community members who are homeless, as well as foster parents and careers, ensuring that the most vulnerable
