39 year old Aboriginal man has experienced homelessness and sleeping rough for over 15 years. He has severe depression, complex PTSD, and has been robbed and assaulted many times, resulting in hospitalisation. He also developed health issues from black mold exposure in a tent at a homeless camp. He has endured the grief of losing close family members and remains estranged from relatives due to domestic violence and family conflict. Despite these hardships, he is 8 years sober from alcohol, reducing cannabis use, and working with a clinical psychologist to resume medication. After years of hardship, he has secured social housing with the Department of Housing and will be moving in with a close friend. He urgently needs household items and whitegoods, as he will have very little apart from his clothes and his puppy. He hopes to rebuild his life, reconnect socially, and contribute through his art. Any assistance we can offer him would be greatly appreciated.
