Young Person 18, long-standing history of homelessness, seeking driving lessons to assist with community access & employment
GIVIT
YP is 18 and has had a long-standing history of homelessness over a 2+ year period. YP is staying in a caravan at his partner's friend's parents property and is doing his best to stretch his limited income (Centrelink and a few hours of casual employment at McDonalds) to cover all of his expenses. Given the rural area, lack of driving licence is proving to be a significant barrier for YP and he does not have family support to be able to complete the hours. Please kindly seeking driving lessons through a local company, to allow YP to get up to 10 hours in his logbook so that we can refer across to the Braking the Cycle program.
