FLOOD RECOVERY: family struck hard after death of their mother and sister during flood recovery
Flooding - NSW - Spring 2022
This family has lost so much. Flood waters came raging through their backyard, wiping out all the pet's enclosures and running under the house. Their home is over 100 years old and has been passed down through generations. It has stood the test of time, but since the 2022 floods...it is falling apart. The foundations are shifting, the roof is collapsing, moister is rising up through the floors - and in between all that, this family lost their mother on Christmas Day, and months later, their sister also passed. Now on top of the damage from the floods, they are navigating bills, house deeds, wills, and all the things no one knows how to navigate, until they have to. Any support is greatly appreciated.
