I am supporting a Palestinian refugee family they have been through lots of trauma and war, the father 51 years old and has significant disabilities suffering from cardiomegaly and has experienced three strokes, resulting in impaired mobility and weakness in his right hand and leg. He also suffers from incontinence and does not have means to purchase, his NDIS application is taking long, and we don’t know how long it may take before it gets approved. The family recently approved Centrelink however they are struggling financially with bill, medication and transport.
The family have few needs and hopping to receive support
1. Incontinence issues and needs continent size x large.
2. 4 weeks rent overdue due to Centrelink and large bills.
3. To complete his dependence, he needs electric wheelchair.
