Young person has a long history of transience due to intergenerational homelessness and significant historical and ongoing family violence that began during their childhood. Young person's family unit broke down with the separation of their parents and passing of sibling. Young person was cared for by extended family since their early teenage years. Young person left this arrangement with the extended family due to experiencing family violence. Currently no other family supports. Young person has since been couch surfing and staying at multiple short-term accommodations. Young person is experiencing financial hardship. Young person lives with chronic pain due to undiagnosed health conditions that are still being investigated. Young person recently secured a shared accommodation option and requires bedding for their new room. Funding support will provide an opportunity for the young person to establish strong foundations and help to break the cycle of housing instability.
