Christmas gifts for remote community in NT
First Nations Support
Xmas can be a disappointing time for parents in this remote community. Many families simply cannot afford to buy their children gifts, this is a luxury beyond their means.
Giving them the opportunity to have a voucher to spend at Kmart would benefit their self esteem in being able to provide something to their child for the festive holiday season. Empower the local people to have choice and give their children a gift this Christmas.
I work with over 45 families here which all struggle economically because of the lack of jobs and infrastructure in the community to provide them economic support. They would be so blessed to have the opportunity to be purchase Christmas gifts for their children.
