This mother has shown extraordinary courage, fleeing significant domestic abuse to protect her two children. In doing so, she has had to uproot her entire life, leaving behind stability and facing the heavy burden of paying both her old mortgage and new rent. Living in rural NSW, she travels long distances to keep her nursing job, while also shouldering the costs of ongoing court proceedings and legal battles. Despite the trauma endured, she strives to maintain her children’s relationship with their father, which requires further costly travel. With no financial support from him, the weight of these responsibilities is overwhelming. Yet she continues to fight for safety, stability, and hope for her family. Your kindness can help ease her struggle, bring relief during this difficult time, and remind her that she and her children are not alone.
