59 year old woman who lost her husband 4 years ago from Cancer during Covid. Since then has been living in caravan parks, shared housing and is now in a boarding house. Has Schizophrenia and is an NDIS participant requiring a carer everyday. Has one daughter who lives in Moreton Bay, and parents and brother in Sunshine Coast. Limited money due to being on pension and paying board at boarding house. NDIS worker has advised that she will be best to move to NSW as there is no over 55 accommodation in QLD for her. Ideally she would like to stay in Brisbane area to be close to her support network. Requesting financial assistance to purchase groceries and to assist with moving costs. Will be required to pay 2 weeks rent on property if she moves as it will be a break lease fee. Any offers of support for this lady would be greatly appreciated.
