Battling stage four cancer whilst homeless
GIVIT
This man, in his 50s, has been courageously battling stage four cancer for the past six years. On top of his health struggles, he has also faced homelessness for the past 18 months. Recently, he was connected with a homelessness support service and, with their help, was incredibly fortunate to secure long-term government housing.
Just this week, he moved into a small, beautiful home—a place where he can finally begin to rest his body and mind. Right now, he only has a bed and a lounge to his name. His most urgent need is a fridge to keep his life-saving medications cold. A washing machine would also greatly improve his daily living. Anything beyond that would be a wonderful bonus and a huge help as he begins this new chapter.
