At 86 years old, She has faced more challenges than most of us could imagine. She is currently experiencing homelessness and navigating the daily uncertainty that comes with it — all without the simple lifeline of a mobile phone.
A phone may seem small, but for her, it represents safety, dignity, and connection. It’s a way to stay in touch with healthcare providers, manage her medical appointments, and reach out for help when she needs it most. It’s also a bridge to the outside world — to friends, family, and vital community services that can support her journey toward stability.
Right now, she needs more than just compassion — she needs connection. A phone would mean she can organise her health needs, access support services, and regain a sense of independence and security. Something so many of us take for granted could truly change her quality of life.
