We are a small playgroup located in a rural town where we have a diverse array of clients visiting us weekly to support their children where a lack of early childhood education spaces exists due to the growing population of our town.
We encounter parents who are experiencing economic hardship, homelessness, DFSV and a lack of access to resources which sometimes result in less opportunities for the children in their care.
Our aim is to supply resources to these families, alongside education delivered by a teacher and local aboriginal person, to ensure the families who are raising young children in this town can do so with dignity and the best opportunity for better outcomes for the whole family.
