Our regional town has been devastated by the recent floods, leaving many families with the total loss of their homes, belongings, and sense of security. This disaster has further impacted an already vulnerable community, where many residents were already facing challenges such as domestic violence, homelessness, unemployment, and financial hardship.
Right now, families are struggling with the most basic needs from clothing and food to essential items for daily living. Parents who have lost everything are feeling the added heartache of being unable to provide even small gifts for their children this holiday season.
Through our organization, we have identified and registered families most in need. While we continue to provide support in the form of financial aid through EFT payments, there is an urgent and critical need for pharmacy and basic needs vouchers. These vouchers would provide immediate, flexible relief, enabling families to meet pressing needs, Thank you.
