A young former Karenni refugee who arrived in Australia early 2024 from Karenni Refugee camp in Thailand. She resettled in Australia with family; the parents and three older sisters lived in a refugee camp in Thailand for decades and has very limited socioeconomic status background. Since arrival to Australia, her parents and sisters are attending AMEP classes at TAFE to improve their English whilst she is attending high school. At this technology era, all learning environments materials require student to have essential technology devices in order to participate and access all learning materials. This is very significant for this young former refugee to complete her homework outside classroom at home. Her parents are unemployed due to their limited socioeconomic status, therefore unable to support a laptop that their daughter desperately needed for her study. The laptop will make her learning journey easier, and she will be grateful to anyone who make her dream come true.
