Christmas 2025
After escaping family violence in Tasmania, this mum and her three young children relocated to Victoria to rebuild their lives. She has secured a home but arrived with only the clothes on their backs, leaving behind all belongings, including the children’s clothes and her laptop. With minimal furniture and groceries, each day is a struggle. The children have their own beds, but she sleeps on the floor, and her youngest has outgrown their toddler bed. Despite feeling isolated and overwhelmed, she remains determined to create a safe, stable home. She hopes to complete a family violence recovery course to become a peer support worker but cannot start without a laptop. Having sold her ring to make ends meet, she continues doing everything possible to protect her children and bring hope back into their lives. Support would mean the world to this resilient mother, especially as she tries to make Christmas special for her kids this year. Any offers of support would be greatly appreciated.
