Domestic & Family Violence
Mum has experienced significant trauma throughout her life, including birth trauma and domestic and family violence. She lives with chronic pain and has ongoing mental health and neurodevelopmental challenges, including anxiety, ADHD, and autism. Over the past year, The family have faced considerable instability, having to relocate five times due to ongoing housing issues.
Currently, the cost of living pressures are placing significant strain on the family. Mum is unable to work at this time due to her health concerns and her responsibilities as a full-time parent. The provision of a forward-facing car seat would greatly support this family by enabling them to travel safely, access essential services, and participate more fully in community activities. This support would reduce isolation, promote wellbeing, and assist mum in maintaining important connections for herself and her children.
