Domestic & Family Violence
A young woman has recently turned 18 after growing up with a life marked by hardship, poverty, and violence. From a very young age she has had to show resilience far beyond her years, facing challenges that no child should endure. For the past two years, she has been living in transitional accommodation, working tirelessly to create stability and prepare herself for independent living. Through courage and determination, she has now been offered her forever home, a safe and permanent place where she can begin to heal, dream, and build a brighter future. This home represents more than just four walls; it is a chance for her to feel secure, belong, and experience hope after years of uncertainty. However, as a young person with minimal resources, she starts from scratch and has little to make her new space her own. With the kindness and generosity of the community, she can finally step into this next chapter with safety, comfort, and dignity.
