UPDATE: 3/11/25 - Participant lost everything in the 2022 flood event. She started the recovery process then fled a relations due to financial, emotional and mental violence. Through these traumatic events, the participant suffered some mental health issues that saw her hospitalized and receiving treatment. Since release, the participant has found some temporary accommodation, with the view of acquiring a longer-te situation which will give her back her independence, confidence and sense of self. At this stage, the participant desperately needs a washing machine to assist in meeting her hygiene requirements as she has also suffered some physical health issues and relies on a bowel stoma.
