Mum is trying so hard but is struggling. Mum was very courageous and left a very violent and volatile environment and relationship. Mum and children are all suffering from PTSD from the mental, physical, emotional and sexual abuse both mum and child has endured and also been subjected to.
The youngest child has a life-limiting disorder which requires regular monitoring at Royal Childrens Hospital. The medication required is essential to keep him alive, however, the cost of the travel and medication takes a huge chunk out of mums payments, especially when her capacity to earn money is limited due to her PTSD and mental illness. There have been periods where this family have been homeless.
