An elderly couple from Victoria moved to help their daughter who required assistance for herself and son. They sold their family home and moved to purchase a small café and rented a property for themselves and their dogs while they helped their daughter get back on her feet. Their daughter then severed the relationship with her parents.
The couple were unable to meet the demands placed on their business and it closed within 18 months of operation. Two days later they were informed the owner of the property they were renting was returning from overseas. They had 21 days to find an alternative but are now homeless and running out of money to pay for a hotel. To make matters worse, a few days ago their only car which they could have lived in was stolen out the front of the hotel they are staying at. We need your help to get them on their feet.
